SOFT POWER DIPLOMACY AND INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

For the past 5 years , we have worked tirelessly to realize the fundamental interests of International Relations practitioners in Zambia (view  main page ). However, due to the need for sustainable development in Zambia, the IRAZ International Relations Association of Zambia has extended its mandate from creating a sustainable path towards professional inclusion, empowerment and participation for international relations practitioners in Zambia to promoting sustainable development through soft power diplomacy and international cooperation. The global challenges of our time continue to reveal the intrinsic connection between achieving sustainable development and embracing soft power diplomacy and international cooperation.

Our Key Mission Strategies:

  • Advancing Soft Power Diplomacy and International Cooperation

The association will utilize its programs such as the Diplomats Round Table to strengthen Zambia’s international cooperation and global perspective at a People-to-People level and collaborate with Embassies, Non-Governmental Organizations and other relevant institutions through various soft power mechanisms.

  • Advancing Youth and Women Participation

The association will continue to promote the participation, empowerment and inclusion of women and youth in International Relations. Through our feminist strategy, the association seeks to establish an annual IRAZ Round Table for Female Diplomats and to create a Scholarship Fund to promote (remote)Female education in International Relations and Diplomacy

  • Advancing International Relations Research, Education and Analysis
